Whether or not Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was at full strength Sunday against the Chicago Bears is irrelevant. Fractured finger, the wearing of gloves; either way, the Lions lost.
And lost bad.
I would have liked to see Shaun Hill get a crack at it before Stafford threw his third and fourth interceptions, but, hey, I'm no Jim Schwartz or Scott Linehan.
I understand keeping the player that gives the best chance to win, but I hardly thought that was Stafford about midway through the third quarter Sunday. Whether or not you like Hill is entirely your choice to make. However, I can't help but think that a healthy Hill would have been better at managing the debacle at hand against the Bears -- at least better than a banged-up Stafford.
Look for updates on Stafford's status for Week 11.

The fight, the "new" intense rivalry -- all covered here.

Lions played "dirty," says ESPN reporter
Well, I can't disagree with that one, folks. The Lions were a bit brash and fiesty.

The Lions' bye-week didn't cause loss to Bears
Another one that's hard to argue against. The Lions were just unprepared, that's all. Pretty simple, if you ask me.
Dominic Raiola says Lions weren't going to back down
Oh, Dominic. You're great at putting things into perspective. Sure, the Lions didn't back down, but they certainly helped fuel the fire that is the discussion of their perceived "dirty" play.

Stafford's poor day not due to gloves
Rogers always breaks it down with helpful stats. Stafford's inaccuracy due to gloves, was, perhaps, overblown, he writes.
